Tailor Vintage Giveaway!!!!

Great things come from great collaborations. MJ & Paul McCartney, Scorsese & DiCaprio, Tommie Smith & John Carlos . The world would not be as awesome if these guys didn’t let their powers combine. So I decided to link with the dopest DC area street style blog, The Houndstooth Blog and introduce you guys to TAILOR VINTAGE. And what magic comes about when MSP, THB, and TV get together? You get a GIVEAWAAAAAY!! *Queue Oprah theme music*

Not until recently have I been even remotely interested in exposing the lower half of my body to the public. I was pretty content with wearing long pants on the hottest of days in the dead of summer. If it weren’t for the beach or pools, my legs would get less shine than Brian Scalabrine in the playoffs. Whenever I tried to venture out of my comfort zone and buy a pair of shorts, I’d always run into the pair that fit at the waist but billowed out as if I kept tennis balls in cargo pockets. Not the look I was going for. But then, Tailor Vintage came along and saved me from the parachute pant.

I like a slim fit pant so naturally, I prefer a slim leg on my shorts. We’re not going for the biker shorts look. We’re not trying to bring back JNCO Jeans either. There’s a very happy medium and Tailor Vintage found it.

Tailor Vintage doesn’t cut corners on quality and detail. When dealing with reversible anything, it’s imperative that it doesn’t look like they are inside out…or right side in. Can you tell what is on the other side of the shorts below?

Didn’t think so. It’s madras!!

They also have these wonderful shirts available. The madras shirt is in for the spring and summer and TV has what you need. The shirts are perfect for that summer wedding, kicking it around the city, or strolling on the beach.

I’d like to thank Andy of The Houndstooth Blog….not only for agreeing to team up with me on this project, but for letting the world know that Washington, DC isn’t just a place where everyone dresses like John McCain and Hilary Clinton. We have plenty of style and he’s capturing it all. Be sure to check out his blog. It’s pretty wavy. Sift through. You’ll find plenty of inspiration on there. You may even see a picture of a friend or two. I randomly found my little brother on there. This blog will make you want to step outside in your best gear on a day-to-day basis because you never know when he’ll be in your neck of the woods snapping shots.

Posse out.

Very nice!! I too have found shorts to either be too baggy or fit super slim. These look perfect.

Man it’s hard out here! I am thoroughly impressed with the sizing, the material, the details….their whole presentation is something that a lot of companies need to pay attention to.
